How to "imply movement" in a (practically) stationary person?

I am painting two women arguing (actually its a mythological scene.. but anyway!) and they are standing in one place, but I do not want them to look as if they are still and immobile, but I also do not want them to be in "theatrical poses." So how does one imply the movement in a subtle way?
