Zelda Ocarina of time... Water temple... ?

Ok, the most hated temple in the game, obviously. I'm stuck. Can't figure out what to do. I need to find the longshot. Problem is, I have no more keys, and all the doors that are open lead to nothing. Can someone tell me in excruciating detail where the stupid longshot is? Thank you SOOOOO much!
