How is it possible that so many people are delusional that a god and or devil/angels exist?

M Hysteria is when a large group of people believe in the same delusion. An experiment was done where a room was set up with a confessional booth and only one person would enter at a time the room at a time. They were told that inside this confessional was a priest or whatever their religion called for. They were told that they should confess and being heard by this godly man it would absolve them of their sins... well, one by one they walked into the room and did their confessing ... and of course, all of them left there feeling better, like they were heard, and absolved or forgiven or whatever. On some instances certain people were told there was no one in the confessional but that they should do it any way. They left not feeling heard, or absolved or forgiven. Funny thing is, there was NEVER a priest or godly man in that confessional ever, not even with the first group I mentioned. I was all in their heads, that feeling of forgiveness was self inspired. God is your illusion
