Do you think he Is joking?

My partner and i have a little boy that is nearly 1 and i have recently became incredibly broody! As a joke i asked him to put me off having another just yet and told him to remind me of the pain etc but he said that he would love another one and would be happy for me to be pregnant again. I couldnt work out whether he was joking or being serious. I am finishing off a degree course at the moment and wouldnt be timed very well but should i just go with my instincts and have another baby? thanks : )
