Car accident insurance claim (10 points for best answer?

I was at an at fault car accident one month ago the cost to the other guys car was $500, i got got a ticket a too, which i have paid and elected to go traffic school. I logged in to my Geico insurance account, and notice the claim has been closed. I am planning of switching to Allstate after my Geico auto insurance is done. Since traffic school will prevent me from getting any points on my license and the claim closed, when i apply for ALLstate insurance do i have to tell them i have been in a at fault car accident and mention the claim which is now closed?
